We offer content and classes for all levels of proficiency in English.
It is very common for corporations and other organizations to have Teams that include speakers of many different first and primary languages.
We design programs that are specific to the different levels of language proficiency present in the classroom. We organize these levels based on the Common European Framework for Reference for Languages (CEFR).
We can offer both level-specific English language programs and multi-level programs.
We design and provide programs that best serve your Team's linguistic needs.
Frequency of classes can be anywhere from one class meeting focused on helping those in attendance strengthen specific content, to longer programs that offer basic skills in the English language. We use the "term" model for scheduling programs of more than one class meeting. In this term model classes meet for a specific number of times and weeks. Presently, with one long-term corporate client we have been providing classes that meet once or twice per week over the course of an 8 to 12 week term.
Our language courses use the Communicative Language Teaching (CTA) system. This model offers real-life communication opportunities in the classroom. Students practice the language by focusing on practical language skills for real-life situations in real-time. Students acquire English by actively communicating with the other students and the teacher. The goal is authentic communication. This provides student-centered learning in a meaningful context.
We can offer content in any industry and any service. To date our clients have included: a bio-pharmaceutical, a company that manufactures a unique medical device, a software company, a property management/maintenance/construction company, and a publicly-traded company with an international exposure that itself offers services to a wide variety of companies. And we have provided one-on-one language coaching to a wide-variety of professionals.
